REPLACEMENT LAMP MONITORING SYSTEM
(RLMS)

The NBP Replacement Lamp Monitoring System (RLMS) is a unique system that will reliably monitor, under any operational conditions, the lights of a Dual Mode High Intensity Approach Lighting System (ALSF-2/SSALR). The system meets all of the lamp monitoring and lamp failure reporting requirements of the latest ALSF-2/SSALR specifications FAA-E-2689a Amendment 2.1.1. The RLMS operates in conjunction with either Type FA-9993 or Type FA-10048 ALSF-2/SSALR systems. Those systems can be retrofitted without making any hardware or software changes or modifications to the existing systems.
